In September 2024, we delivered a blended professional development programme for educators from Uzbekistan and implemented across three countries of Finland, Sweden and Turkey. The training combined online modules on active learning, teacher education, and academic research with an immersive study visit to Finland.
During the on‑site component in Jyväskylä, participants explored Finland’s culture and education system, visited daycares, schools, and the University of Jyväskylä, and took part in practical workshops on research, publishing, and classroom practice. Cultural activities, campus tours, and local excursions enriched the experience, making the programme both professionally valuable and personally memorable.
