Certified Capacity Building Training: Teaching, writing and publishing

April 2025 marked another successful round of advanced online training for Uzbek academic staff, primarily composed of teacher educators and educational leaders based in Tashkent. To complement the theoretical learning with lived experience, participants spent several days in Finland and a full week in Sweden.

In addition to observing Finnish teacher training practices and visiting local schools, the delegates engaged in workshops on academic writing and held in-depth discussions with editors from Scopus-indexed, high-impact journals.

This initiative represents yet another step in our ongoing effort to support Central Asian colleagues in strengthening their capacity for international academic research. It also fosters a collaborative ecosystem for producing edited volumes and joint research projects-bridging academic cultures and addressing real, topical challenges.
